1. Introduction
This manual has been prepared in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No. 2 of 2000) (“PAIA”). It outlines the procedures for requesting access to information held by Marketing Partners, a marketing agency operating in South Africa.

3. Guide to Requesting Information
a. Request Procedure: Requests for information must be made in writing on the prescribed request form (Form C) available on the website of the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) or from the Information Officer. Requests must provide sufficient details to identify the record being requested and the requester’s contact information.
b. Fees: A request fee as prescribed in terms of PAIA may be applicable. The requester will be informed of the fee and required to pay before processing the request.
c. Processing Time: Marketing Partners will acknowledge receipt of the request within the stipulated time and respond to the requester within 30 days, unless an extension is granted in terms of PAIA.
4. Records Available in Terms of Other Legislation
In addition to information that can be requested in terms of PAIA, certain records may be available in accordance with other legislation, such as the Companies Act, Consumer Protection Act, and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. Requests for records under these Acts may need to be directed to specific regulatory bodies.
5. Categories of Records Held
Marketing Partners maintains various categories of records related to its business operations, including but not limited to:
a. Client Information: Contracts, communications, and records related to client engagements. b. Financial Records: Invoices, payment records, and financial statements. c. Personnel Records: Employee contracts, HR records, and related documentation. d. Marketing and Creative Materials: Content, designs, and marketing materials. e. Corporate Records: Memoranda of incorporation, company policies, and governance documents.
6. Access to Information Requests Register
Marketing Partners maintains a register of all requests for access to information, as required by PAIA. The register contains the details of the request, the nature of the information requested, and the outcome of the request.
